KCD Budapest 2026 takes place at the main building of Óbuda University, on the Buda side of the city.

Look for the red-brick building with the blue Óbudai Egyetem sign above the glass entrance, directly on Bécsi út.
Getting there
The venue is well connected by public transport, and there is a bike-share station at the door. A single BKK ticket or pass covers trams, buses, the metro and the HÉV within Budapest.

Note that this stretch of Bécsi út has no dedicated cycle lane.

- Batthyány tér (M2, H5) Tram 19 or 41 towards Bécsi út / Vörösvári út to Katinyi mártírok parkja ~15 min
- Széll Kálmán tér (M2) Tram 17 towards Bécsi út / Vörösvári út to Katinyi mártírok parkja ~15 min
- Nyugati station (M3) Bus 9 towards Óbuda to Tímár utca, then a short walk ~25 min
- Keleti station (M2) Metro M2 to Batthyány tér, then tram 19 or 41 ~30 min
- Budapest Airport (BUD) Airport shuttle 100E to Deák Ferenc tér (needs a dedicated shuttle ticket), then as above ~1 h 15 min
Parking
Street parking around the venue is scarce and time-limited, so we recommend public transport. If you do drive, here is what to expect.

- Mobile only (SMS, call or a parking app); there are no ticket machines

Bottom line: fine for a quick stop, not for a full conference day.

- Paid car park at Lajos utca 71–89, about 8 minutes' walk
- Surface lots
- Paid lots along Pacsirtamező utca, about 5 minutes' walk
Best for: leaving the car for the whole day.

Heads-up: south of Nagyszombat utca (Bécsi út 34–92) the tariff is zone B, 600 Ft/hour until 20:00. Check the zone code on the sign before you pay.
